My art holds a deep personal significance as I explore the intricacies of identity within the realms of motherhood, grief, culture, and our interconnectedness with the environment. Drawing inspiration from the vast tapestry of history, culture, and mythology, I intergrate these elements into my present experiences. My process involves two main stages; creating collages, using diverse materials, including vintage magazines, inherited books, old photographs, beach combed treasures, and trinkets collected since childhood, which i reference into my paintings with the use oils, acrylic and pigments.
By merging culture, environment, and nostalgia, my art becomes a visual bridge, fostering connection and nurturing appreciation for the intricate harmony between humanity and the natural world.
Shaped and glassed my own twin fin under the watchful eyes of Sam Yoon and Peter Moschogianis, using a Burford blank as the canvas and drawing inspiration from a classic Skip Frye outline. From refining the rails to dialing in the rocker, this project was all about combining clean lines and flow to create a board that feels at home in smooth, down-the-line surf.

The playful surreal landscapes reflect an unconventional upbringing and multicultural background, exploring psychological, physical, and cultural connections between humans and the environment. The painting is inspired by the arch striking formation in Golden Valley, Hill End NSW the result of mining and erosion. The shapes left behind by erosion remind me of the fluidity and movement of waves.
